Planning the theme for your one year old’s first birthday party is just FUN! The excitement for your baby hitting the one year milestone and celebrating all of it with family and friends, along with all the adorable decorations, cake, and goodies - c’mon now!
Often times when parents reach out to me to get one year old pictures done of their little one, we will incorporate the theme of their first birthday into their photo session. With my little friend, Macie, her birthday theme was “Sweet One” with DONUTS! Talk about cuteness. With that being said, we decided for her photo shoot to do a “donut smash” rather than a cake smash.
Let me tell you, Macie was all in!

Baby girl was so fun to watch, because she had to pick up each individual donut and try a bite out of every one. All the little donut bites had us cracking up!
After the donut smash and sugar crash, it was time for a nice warm bath. Talk about #winning in life with turning one year old, right?
