The kids are growing so quickly.
We all say it, mama. I can’t believe how fast time is going. The kids are learning and changing right before your eyes and you feel like time is just slipping between your fingers. So lets capture the “now” for you. Whether the kids are toddlers, tweens or teens, they’ll never be this age and stage again. For my own family, I make it a personal goal to have family photos taken at least every other year, and I still feel like that isn’t often enough.
So what is stressing you about family photos? You have no idea what to dress everyone in for the photos? You’re terrified about your kids’ behavior? 02. WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT?
I recommend contacting me through the Contact Form about two months in advance for proper planning purposes.
03. WHAT IS THE BEST MONTH FOR A FAMILY PHOTO SESSION?
This is a subjective question and everyone might have a different answer, but here you can find an informative article about the pros and cons of each month. It will give you things to think about, such as, what type of clothing you do like to wear (ie layers or sun dresses) and that will impact the best month for you!
04. WHERE SHOULD WE HAVE OUR FAMILY PHOTOS DONE?
I have several locations around Metro Detroit that I recommend. When we have our consultation to plan your family’s photo shoot, I’ll show you several of those location examples so you can see what best fits the vibe of your family.
05. WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR FAMILY PHOTO SHOOT?
It’s best to coordinate outfits without being too matchy-matchy. Choose complementary colors and styles that reflect your family's personality. Avoid large logos or busy patterns that can be distracting. BEST OF ALL, I provide a digital What To Wear Guide to all of my family clients, with several examples of family outfits that will give you outfit inspiration.
06. DO YOU OFFER MINI SESSIONS?
I do, on occasion! Mini sessions are planned around a special holiday or limited theme, typically Christmas time, Red Truck Minis, Motherhood, Glitter and so forth. Those on my email list get the information and sign-ups first! You can sign up to be notified here.
