Photo Contest Results Are IN! | 2020 Shoot + Share Photography Contest
I'm beyond thrilled to share this with you all. You may have heard me mention the Shoot + Share contest that I entered earlier this year. The Shoot + Share contest is a h-u-g-e, free photography contest, that is completely anonymous. You can submit up to 50 photos to be entered into several different categories (families, weddings, kids, birth, lifestyle, etc).
This year, there were 561,997 images entered and over 79 MILLION votes from 118 different countries. Voters would see 4 different photos on their screen for a category and select the one they loved the most. And, voting was addictive, I'm not going to lie!
Without further ado, my results were....
I submitted 50 images, so about half of mine placed!
So now what you really want to see… the photos that placed!!

The TEN photos that placed Top 20% were…
The SIX photos that made it in the Top 10%…
And lastly, the ONE photo that made it as a FINALIST…
(Oddly enough, I almost never photograph landscape, but I’ll take it as a win! This photo was taken when my husband surprised me with a hot air balloon ride date. As you can see, Michigan colors were at peak for Fall, which made it even more amazing!)
What a great year last year was photographing so many of you and your beautiful families! I can’t wait to see what we create together for the remainder of this year!
