Glitter Photoshoot Birthday Party | Julia turns 11! | Detroit Photographer
What better way to celebrate your 11th birthday than with a Glitter Photo Session Birthday Party with your three best friends?!
Julia’s mom reached out to me after seeing my Limited Edition Glitter Mini Sessions, and wanted to know if I thought this would be a fun birthday idea for her daughter. Um, YES! Count me in. We talked about some outfit recommendations for the girls, and I transformed the studio into a Glitter Birthday wonderland!
The girls had THE best time! They chatted, they danced, they laughed, they glittered (new word!), they toasted with some sparkling. They ate cake, delicious cake, from Bake My Day in Shelby Township, MI. And then they glittered some more!
And as a side note, I learned how much fun 11 year olds are - the current music they like (I had never heard of their favorites), funny movie quotes (I also didn’t know - haha!), and most importantly - how quickly kids turn into tweens and then teens! I photographed Julia and her siblings just a few years ago, and now all of a sudden she is all grown up! Slow.down.time.
