Give me all the glitter and magic! | Glitter Photo Session by Detroit Family Photographer
It has been on my children’s photographer bucket list to do a glitter photo session. All I needed was for Michigan to be quarantined to give me the time to do it, and boy did Michigan deliver (too soon?)! But my goodness, this session was AMAZING!
On a day my girls and I were needing a day to just do something different, you know, when it felt like Ground Hog’s Day number 2384349, I knew it was time. I had ordered these boutique dresses for them a few weeks ago, so the timing was meant to be! We headed up to my Utica, Michigan photography studio and MADE IT RAIN GLITTER! Talk about every little girl's dream photo session.
Before the session I curled their hair, wiped off their fake tattoos (you feel me on the pain of those…), and put some lip gloss on them. They felt like princesses getting the treatment like that!
During the session, I used a larger glitter so it wouldn’t get in their eyes while it was being thrown and tossed all over the place! Before we started, we did do some portraits as well, but then it was time to PLAY. And let me tell you, it was magical.
They danced, twirled, and giggled amongst it all. These two girls are just a joy.
… she leaves a little sparkle everywhere she goes.
The clean up for this session was absolutely crazy, I’ll be honest. But the session itself was so much fun, and the photos turned out gorgeous and playful and innocent and lovely and just screams joyful!
How perfect would this type of photo session be for a little girl’s special birthday?!
