Chris + Hannah's 10 Year Anniversary Photo Session! | Detroit Photographer
What do you do when you plan to take a trip to Greece for your 10 year anniversary but it is the year 2020 (hello, Covid 19) and everything gets cancelled? You plan an absolutely amazing anniversary photo shoot to celebrate you two and your decade of marriage you’ve been rockin’ together!
Meet Chris and Hannah. They are parents to four beautiful kids, Jesus lovin’, business owning and operating, and just flat out sweet and FUN.
When Hannah first approached me about a session for their anniversary, she said she wanted to get a dress, hair done, make-up done, get amazing pictures and then a little trash the dress, too. Ya’ll, she delivered!
What really blew me away, besides how amazing they looked, was when they rolled up in Chris’ grandpa’s '87 Sunday Ride. I had to pinch myself with how good that would look in some of their photos. I gently asked if they could even sit on it for some, and although a bit apprehensive of this beaut, it was allowed. :)
And the bubbly. The bubbly was so much fun.
They laughed, twirled, dipped, kissed and cuddled the evening away.
And then there was golden hour…
After golden hour, we were driving to the beach and we came across the most beautiful ray of sun shining through the trees. It was one of those, quick-we’ve-got-to-pull-over moments. Thankfully amongst all the excitement I didn’t lock my keys in the car like I have other times…
After their session, they had a kid-free weekend in Downtown Detroit. Talk about a pretty great way to celebrate your anniversary, huh? Wishing you many years of health and happiness ahead to you both!
