A Spring Maternity Photo Session in Macomb, MI | Pam
Let’s talk about planning your maternity session, shall we? I typically ask clients if they want it to be dressy, casual or formal. Then do they want it to be just them or do they want their spouse (and family) in the photos? Do they like an urban look for the scene or more nature? This gives me an idea of how to help them create the exact portrait they are looking for.
What doesn’t typically happen during the maternity photoshoot planning conversation is this:
Me: I’ve got the perfect location for your session. Do you think you’re up for it?
Client: Gosh yes. Where is it?!
Me: You have to trust me on this one.
Client: Ok…
Me: It’s in an abandoned parking lot I saw while getting my hair done the other day, but it’s gorgeous, I promise!
Client: Ok. I’m game.
I’m sure you’re intrigued at these “parking lot” photos now, aren’t you? Take a look at this gorgeous mama’s maternity session, and at the very end you can see a pull back of just where we were at that parking lot. It’s pretty incredible. :)
